Our website has up to the minute details for all shows and films with the option to book online for most of our shows!
Tickets can be purchased online up to two hours before a performance. All tickets purchased online can be collected from the box office prior to the performance. Please note that all tickets purchased online are final and will not be exchanged nor money refunded.
Please note: Tickets booked via our website incur a £2 transaction charge.
Reserved seats are held for 5 days from booking. No reservations taken from 5 days before performance date. Please contact the Box Office for group bookings of 10+.
How to pay
We accept cash, cheques and all major credit and debit cards.
Tickets cannot be refunded after purchase. Seat exchanges can be made for the same performance, at the management’s discretion, up to 48 hours before a performance. All exchanges are charged at £1 per ticket.
Some concessions are available for selected shows for Senior Citizens over the age of 65, under 16s and full time students. Proof of eligibility may be required. Carers admitted free on production of a CEA Carer’s Card. Group booking discounts are available for selected shows (not cinema) – book 9 tickets get one free. Please enquire about school discounts.
Children and families
The Empire is a family friendly venue. Facilities available include booster seats, smaller sized 3D film glasses, baby changing facilities, child concessions (plus under 2’s go free if sitting on knee – suitable performances only), children’s café offers and toys and books.
The ground floor of the venue is pushchair accessible, however please be aware that we are unable to store pushchairs if left unattended and they are not permitted to be taken inside the auditorium.
A group discount of 1 in 10 free is offered on most shows. Group discounts are available at the box office only.
All tickets must be picked up a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the performance. If not collected by this point we reserve the right to cancel and resell them.
Please note: Tickets booked via telephone, post or internet will incur an administration charge. We reserves the right at all times, and without notice, to cancel any performances. In such circumstances patrons will be entitled to a refund of any ticket price paid by them, or the issue of a replacement ticket to the same value.
